Apple wood smoking chips

Sustainably sourced apple wood smoking chips from local cider orchard trimmings. Apple wood imparts a smokey and slightly sweet essence to food cooked over fire. These apple wood smoking small chunks work particularly well with pork but also add a great flavour to all meats including game, poultry and fish. For best results soak the chips for fifteen minutes before adding to the hot coals. Alternatively for an instant smoke effect sprinkle a few chips on to the glowing embers.
